About me

As a graduate sports scientist, doctorate in health science and self-employed entrepreneur, I have extensive professional experience in various areas of the healthcare system.

After completing my sports studies at the German Sport University in Cologne, I was able to gather my first experiences in the health care system as a prevention specialist for the AOK Westfalen-Lippe. After completing the extra-occupational diploma course "Health Sciences" with subsequent doctorate at the University of Bielefeld, I left the AOK in 1997 and founded my first company. For a long time, sarbandi.communication was very successful as an agency for health communication with offices in Bielefeld and Vienna. Today I manage the two publishing houses NINOY GmbH based in Hamburg and NINOY Ltd. based in Arklow, Ireland.

In addition to my work as an entrepreneur, I am passionately active throughout Europe as a lead auditor (including the standards DIN EN ISO 9001, DeQus, RehaSpect, QMS-Reha, Geriatrics Quality Seal, DGU Age Trauma Center, DWG Spine Center, FSSC 22000, MAAS- BGW as well as in the international procedures Surgical Spine Center of Excellence and SA 8000) for various certification bodies. I am also the head of the quality practice association Humanitus, with over 120 outpatient care facilities.

And if there is still time left, I write books and specialist publications, or I bring my considerable professional experience to the teaching.
